Our results highlight the importance of proper analysis of compositional data and the relevance of the methodological advances following J. Aitchison's (1986) work.

This data set contains 38 particle-size distributions (PSD) of unfired potsherds from the Iberian workshop of the Mas de Moreno (Teruel, Spain). The distributions were obtained by laser diffraction.

WDXRF analysis of Iberian potsherds from the Late Iron Age

This data set contains 99 chemical analyses of ceramic potsherds from the Iberian workshop of the Mas de Moreno (Teruel, Spain). The chemical composition of the samples was obtained by wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (WDXRF).
